Finding your “Why”

Finding your Why?

Whilst going through the process of updating the G2M Solutions Ltd website (which is in still WIP!), I was challenged on the content by Christian Lucy who posed me the question: What is your Why? Having provided explanations (which were in reality) the “what” and the “how”. I then admitted that I needed to take my own medicine and find my why.

Having done the work on myself, journalling, writing notes on the train to London and over coffee at home on a Saturday morning. I found some key words and phrases were resonating:

Authenticity, Professionalism, Trust, Integrity, Transparency, Relationships, Credibility.

Solving problems. Moving the Needle.  Making a difference. Working with different cultures and people. Breaking through barriers. Being the first. Building Long Term Relationships and Trust.

Digging deeper I landed on THE key word:

Pioneer (Dictionary Definition) a person or group that opens up a new line of thought, activity or development or one of the first to settle in a new territory. I would say my definition is a bit of a combination of the two.

This is my Why.  I’m passionate about delivering a service which drives growth of revenue and new logo sales for small niche expert software companies who target Financial Services, by the pioneering of new markets, new products and new geographies and by the delivery of successful new business sales in partnership with the customer.
